Judy Tengan joined the Woman’s Club in 2011. She was a dedicated member who helped with many activities. She faithfully volunteered at the museum and was one that I could call on as a last minute substitute.
She was very dependable and enjoyed helping. Judy had been in Book Clubs and currently played Mahjong on Thursdays when she could.
Judy was born on October 8, 1947 in Beacon N.Y. She worked as an Operating Room Nurse at the prestigious Yale New Haven Hospital. From there, she moved to California and then Hawaii where she met her husband Rodney Tengan. They moved to Guam where she worked as an Operating Room Nurse at the Guam Memorial Hospital. After 17 years on Guam, Judy retired and moved with her three daughters to Kissimmee. She returned to work as an Endoscopy Nurse for St. Cloud Regional Hospital. She retired again and began to enjoy her free time. She met Ron and they loved and cared for each other for 22 years.
Judy’s family consisted of three daughters and grandchildren.
Judy spent much of her free time reading, watching football, caring for her dogs and horses, garage sale hunting, and enjoyed spending time at her timeshare in Daytona Beach with Ron.
Judy passed away on April 15, 2018. We will miss her quiet presence.
